Great Forum

Hi, I would really like to be a part of this forum. I am getting ready to have TAH and possible BSO with a bladder suspension. So, I want to make sure I stay on track and eat right and get back in shape as soon as possible. Blessings in Christ, Mikki Jo

Great Forum

Mikki Jo~~ Best of luck to you with your surgery. Please take it slow afterwards getting back into shape, It is a good idea to check with your Dr. as to just how much and when he/she wants you to start any type of exercise. We will be here for you whenever you are ready to join us. I look forward to hearing from you as to how you are doing.

Take Care, Dawn

Great Forum

Mikki Joe,
You will be in my thoughts and prayers during surgery and as you recover. I agree w/ Dawn that you should heed your doctor's advice as to when to begin exercising after surgery. You can however begin by changing your eating habits and drinking plenty of water.

My surgery is April 3rd and I plan on making some of my meals ahead of time. Purchasing easy to fix, low calorie meals, like "Lean Cuisine" & "Healthy Choice". I also plan to stock up on plenty of fruit & veggies to nibble on when I am hungry.

Sending you a big Isabelle
