3 1/2 weeks post op with fever

I had TAH and a cyst removed on my right ovary on 20/2. I have been feeling better and better every day but last night at 2:30 am I woke up with a fever of 101 I haven't got anypain or any other symptoms apart from a daily spotty pad (but that's been on the go since week 2. Should I worry or put it down to the good old flu?

Hi. If you have woken with a fever of 101, don't ignore it. Call your dr and see the dr before it gets any worse. I am not from the medical field, but if I had a fever, I would not hesitate to see the dr.

Speaking as a nurse, yes call your Dr. when his office opens. In the mean time, take some tylenol and drink LOTS of fluids!! Yes that "drink, drink, drink" is so very important!!!!

But CALL YOUR DR. Dont let the signs of a possible infection go.
