ultra toner

Hi ladies

Has anyone used the ultra toner. I was thinking of buying one but as they are very expensive would like some opinions first.

Have been almost dormant since my op ! and have not exercised properly for years - rode horses from 4 - 18 years old everyday, then did three aerobics classes per week. When I went back to full time work, after having children was to tired to go to classes and now 1 year post hyst still haven't done anything. Am a very lazy maisy!! Anyway have decided a flabby belly doesn't suit me and hoped the ultra toner might be my saviour !!

Any help would be appreciated, especially from previously flabbly now taut tummy sisters !!

ultra toner

Hello Me,

I have never heard of this equipment called ultra toner. Can you describe it?
If you are going from dormancy to activity I would suggest walking. If you are planning to join a gym its really a good idea to talk to a personal trainer to get the most effective program for you!
Blessings<><
Jody
PS,
Congratulations on making the decision to become fit!

ultra toner

Hi Jody

Thanks for the advise but I have painful shin splints and even walking causes pain in my shins and knees after a while. I am waiting for an appointment to see a podiatrist to have some orthotics made for my shoes, evidently this should make a big difference to me (my dad always said I had funny shape legs !!)

The ultra toner is a type of fitness glider. It gives upper and lower body workout and they say it has little impact on the joints, I thought this would be gentler for me.

I first noticed the pain from the shin splints about a year before my hyst. It was not until after I had my op that I really started to notice the pain, maybe my legs were not used to so much rest! So I might not really such a 'lazy maisy' its just easier to stop doing things that you know will hurt you ! I had the pain from the hyst and now the pain in the legs and sometimes it gets you down a bit.

Anyway now I think, if I can get the things for my shoes and build up the muscles around my knees and shins a bit then maybe everything will balance out - a bit like hormones I suppose.

Oh dear !! I have gone on and on and on, sorry !! Am having one of my brain foggy, confused and a bit down days -- tomorrow will be better.

Love and hugs
