Please Pray for me Sisters....

I have just had some bad news.... My father called to let me know his pancreatic cancer has finally reached the end, he has 3 months maybe less. I have been having a difficult recovery, complications on my bladder work. I just feel like an elephant just sat on my chest. I'm very depressed.

On an up note, I feel I am finally making progress with the bladder stuff.... The s-p tube came out today.

I just need some hugs right now.....

Please for me....

Please Pray for me Sisters....

I am so very sorry to hear about you dad!
I lost my dad 2 1/2 years ago very suddently, he had heart surgery and six months later got a blood clot and died.
I will definately for you! and your dad!
Try to remember the seperation will be a temporary thing, since you asked for prayers I am assuming you believe you will be together in the end?! That's what has helped me, losing a dad is very hard, I know I feel like an orphan sometimes!
I hope you continue to recover and have time to spend with your dad and say all the important things!
God bless you!

PRAYERS FOR YOU AND Dad

Hi
I lost my Dad when I was 2 weeks from graduating from high school which was 30 years ago now. I have never stopped missing him as he was my best friend. He died suddenly from a heart attack. I do believe I will see him on the other side and that He does watch over me. I know how very hard it is to lose a parent and I will pray for you both. I also lost my husband of 10 years 10 years later. I was only 27 and a widow with 2 young sons. Death is hard but remember that he is going to a wonderful place when his life is done here. You WILL see him again in heaven I am sure of that. Try to take care of yourself as he would want you healthy and not worrying about him. I know ... As if you cant. But it is important to take care of yourself and try to spend some real quality time with him now.

Please Pray for me Sisters....

SusieQM ( tried to list a bunch of hugs here but I got an error message) I'm sure that isn't enough but......
I am very sorry to hear about your father. I will keep us both in my . I am going thru a similar situation. Two days after my surgery my dad called me to tell me he had prostate cancer and he is going in for surgery tomorrow 3/21. Last night my mom called to tell me that my Grandma had lung cancer! I have them all in my thoughts and prayers. I know things happen for a reason, just haven't a clue to what the reason is yet.

God Bless you and your family

SusieQ,
I am so sorry to hear your news. I have been praying for you with your recovery & now I will add your Dad to my prayers. I lost both my parents at a young age & we lost my father-in-law very suddenly to liver cancer (actually started as pancreatic cancer) in November. I know what you are going thru & my prayers are with you. It is so hard to deal with. Please remember to take care of yourself during this difficult time. You need to heal as well. Prayers and blessings to you & your family.

Please Pray for me Sisters....

Five months ago I also lost my mom to pancreatic cancer. She was told she had cancer and 30 days later she died. What a shocker. Right before that my daughter, had a brain tumor removed. It was malignant but they feel they got it all. 20% chance of it coming back which is good. I just had a TAH/BSO on March 12, 2002.
Prayers and support are importatnt for you right now. Some how you will get through this difficult time. You will find strength that you did not know you had. Take one day at a time and enjoy the present moment you are in. You are in my prayers.

Praying for you and your Dad

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. Though I have not yet lost a parent, I have lost several close friends to cancer as well as having experienced cancer with myDS who was 2 1/2 at the time. So I pray for strength for both of you, God will see you both through this and bring you together for all eternity. It's hard not to say "why me/us?" but I feel in the end , we will find the answer to all of these questions. Please hang in there and lean on everyone and anyone you can. I wish I could make it better for you...........Hugs and best wishes, and please remember to take care of yourself also!!

Many prayers

Susie,

I am sorry to hear about your dad's cancer. I also have never lost a loved one or family member, and I can only imagine the pain of that loss. But you know that you can see him again in heaven. Ask God for that reassurance. Spend as much time with your Dad as you can. You and your family are in my prayers

And prayers go out to all of you who are hurting or facing the loss of a family member or loved one, especially as you recover from your hysts.

God Bless and keep you all in His care.
