Web site

Hello Everyone,
As I sit here on the eve of my surgery, lol for some reason I have become quite reflective. This web site has given me alot of hope & inspiration... made me think about things: such as options pro & con of having my surgery... made me think about what is going to happen to me... and answered ALOT of questions I had as to what was happening to my body. I also realized by reading the different posts, I wasn't crazy, and what I was experiencing & feeling were REAL symptoms & not just in my head.
Some of the posts on the mesage board made me crazy, and I said to myself " so what " to some of the posts or " big deal " to other posts, and I know I said " who cares" on other occasions. What I have absolutely learned is people are individuals & what is a big deal to me isn't necessarly a big deal to someone else. Everyone heals at different paces, and I know from working as a nurse, people have different pain tolerances. That is what makes us INDIVIDUALS.
What has, and will always stick with me is how unique and wonderful women truely are. We stick by each other when their are problems, we help each each other, and support each other, we cry for each other, we care about each other. For this reason, I feel this web site is so special. It was started by a woman for women. As soon as I have some extra money, I plan to make a contribution to this web site to help support it. I would hate to see the wonderful work done here go away. I would also encourage any woman who has used this site in any way to make a contribution to it if they are financially able to.
Best of luck to all my sisters out there, and may you make the right decision for you.
