Headed for the Castle....ONE more ?

Well today's my day! Yeahhhhh, I have to wait till 11:30! I have one more question, I woke up this morning with a bad pain in my buttocks.....Sciatic trouble I suspect, I've read somewhere that several women had trouble with their sciatic after surgery, do you think I should tell them I'm having this pain before surgery? I'd really hate to have them postpone it, maybe there's an exercise I can do this morning that would help. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much.....

I don't have any advice, just wanted to wish you well with your trip to the castle. Hope everything goes smoothly and you're back at home soon.

Take care and God Bless you and yours,

Hi Ghendrix

Well you are almost there. Congradulations.
Yes, I would tell them about the pain. Perhaps they can give you something before or after your surgery to make you more comfortable with that. I wouldn't think that would cause any reason to cancel the surgery, but then I don't know for sure. I was not in that situation.
I did use a heating pad when I got home from the hospital for a few days. Sure felt good on the lower back. And I still sleep with a pillow under the knees.
I hope this helps.
I will be thinking of you today and saying a little prayer.
Let us know how you are doing when you get home.

Thanks you guys for responding, I guess I'll tell them about it when I get there.

I did some more searching and come up with this quote from sheri:

<I had this with a prolapsed uterus. I thought I needed to see a Chiropractor for a pinched nerve (sciatic) I was in so much pain. Imagine my surprise when after the hyst it disappeared! >

That made me jump for joy! Since my insides are sagging lower than my boobs now days, stands to reason that this could be my trouble also. Guess it's just a lilttle farwell pain huh? LOL Can't wait for this to be over!!!!

(((((((((hugs)))))))))) and thank you's to everyone!!!!
