break-outs

Hi!

I've been doing great since my hysterectomy last October, but I have a couple of questions and I'm hoping some of you sisters have an answer to my problems----- first, my tummy is still tender but just to the touch. I can feel the tenderness when I bump into the countertop, etc... wondering how long it takes for the muscles to totally heal? Second, I'm on an estrogen patch and wondering if this has caused my break-outs. Don't think it's rosacea because it's on the sides of my neck as well... I had my ovaries removed and wonder if my body is adjusting to everything and that's why I'm getting the pimples....

Thanks!!

break-outs

Hi Trixie,

My surgery was November 29th last year and I still have some tender spots around my incision too. As for how long this will last ... you're a little ahead of me so I'm not sure. Maybe this is worth a call to your gyn (?) As for the breakouts ... I don't know if there is a connection with the estrogen patch or not. You could do a search on "breakouts" using the purple "search" button and see what others have posted.

Another idea is to post your questions on the Post Op forum, or in the Hormone Jungle. There are more post op ladies there and they might have experience with your questions too.

Best of luck!

Beth
