Hello brand New to this website and suggested by my gyno. Great place and to seek some good advise about this topic.. Let me give u a snap shot of my issues..
54 years old periods heavy every 15 days most months and fibroids are now larger than uterus and total laparoscopic hysterectomy in February 2014,, my gyno of 30 yrs told me to this 2 yrs ago I refused. Now today went to his woman associate and she said its time. We will do it and take Fallopian tubes, cervix, uterus and fibroids will keep overlies because oddly enough I'm lite years away from menopause and I still have hormones in those overlies once hot flashes come I may go on one or two hormones depends...
Right now I'm in major pain on left side after worse period ever!! It's my fibroid doc prescribed presc Advil 600 mg hardly works..
Does anyone have any relief ideas? Or experience in above.. Sorry for long intro
