Embarressing Question

Not sure how to start this.. but I need to know

Has anyone who has had a VH found that you've lost your
ummm clitoris????

I swear mine has shrunk to almost nothing!! Where did it go and will I get a normal sized one back??

THis is so embarressing I have been wanting to ask this for a couple weeks now and didn't know how to go about asking.
Please if anyone else has noticed this please let me know.. Is this normal??

Thanks for being here as always ladies.

Spud

Awwww Hun Hugs. Do not be embarrassed hun, these are things that we should be able to ask.
Yes hun I think that unless things went wrong and your DR would have told you if that happend, then yes you will still have your clitoris. I do have mine and had a LAVH. I did notice though and may I say i am very pleased that after my surgery and after the initial swelling went down, i now am so nice and neat down there LMAO. I feel like a teenager again. i had such a bad prolapse that there was more hanging out than there was left inside, and things were not neat and not where they should be. Now my surgeon has obviously pulled it all back up to where they should be and all is neat and tidy. A great feeling.
Maybe your DR has just done the same and all is neat and tidy there now. Good luck hun. Hugs Vicki

Embarressing Question

(((SPUD))) Please don't ever be embarrassed to post a question here. That is why we are here. There is no such thing as a stupid question!!!
I had a TVH last February and have not experienced any change as you described. But I did remember reading something about it and I used the 'search' engine at the top of this page and typed in 'clitoris'. Well....BINGO, There were quite a few threads that had been posted and some specifically had to do with the clitoris atrophying after surgery. (I believe it was referred to as the 'gas pedal" in that post. ) Anyway, from what I read, it may be that you are a little low on Estrogen. But please, check the search out and see for yourself. Believe me, chances are we have heard it before, so please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have here. There seemed to be a bit more information on this in the Hormone Jungle so , grab a vine and lots of luck to you.

I hope that this has helped you.

Hugs,
Rita
