WOOHOO!!!! They approved me!!!

HI Ladies!
Some of you may have read my previous posts regarding my insurance company denying me surgery for lack of clinical evidence. Well, I got my records from my old fertility Dr who did my lap surgery and had them faxed over and low and behold.....now I'm approved! The nurse called me this morning to tell me! YEAH!

I can not tell you how relived I am. I couldn't for the life of me understand why on Earth they didn't think I needed this surgery and now it must have been just that fact that they didn't have all the info. Whew! I was preparing myself for a huge dissappointment and a huge fight! And now I don't have too! Thank goodness!

Now the week before op jitters will set in....surgery set for April 8th. Thanks to all those who said a little prayer for me! Very much appreciated! KimAZ

WOOHOO!!!! They approved me!!!

Hey Kim, that is great news!! I work for an Ins co, and it is tough sometimes to be treated as an individual. Wow, your op is right around the bend, huh? Mine is still May 16th... How long will you be taking off work?

WOOHOO!!!! They approved me!!!

Kim,
Thanks for sharing your good news! That's great that your were approved by your ins company. It's tough enough making the decision to have this surgery, then to be told you were denied coverage by your insurance company

April 8th will be here before you know it. Best of luck Kim!

Woohoooo!!!! they aproved me!!!

i know how it feels kimaz. i just recieved my letter today that my ins. approved my elective
surgery. can't believe it ( have been very anemic for over 5 years(almost needed bood transfusions, had endometriosis, gone thru coloscopy and cone biopsy for bad paptest, heavy bleedings lasting 15 days, bad cramps, big clots and misery for all those years) and i needed to get approved to have a hyster. gee, i don't know what would have had happened if they had denied that surgery. i'm so excited can wait until april 22 , will keep informed on my "path" to hyster.

I'm so glad that you got the good news!!!!!! I too was very concerned my insurance was going to deny me the op as well I had a lap done 10 years ago and have had nothing but problems ever since but I got my approval without having to go through getting those very old records Thank God!! Good Luck to you hun!!!

HUGS
