Need your prayers...

Hey Dear Sisters,
I have a special need today and would like to ask you all to help me pray. As you all know I have Leukemia and have been having treatments since the end of January. Well, this Thursday I finish up my second cycle of chemo and have a 2 week break before I start the third and hopefully last cycle. For almost three weeks now I have also been having some radiation on the spleen, left armpit and pelvic reigon to shrink the nodes there that have become involved. The Lord is good and has brought me this far. We have some tweaking to do with the treatment when we start the third cycle so I'm not sure right now what all of that means but I trust the Drs. to do what is best. Now my need! My son's 9th grade class will be leaving for Washington, D.C. next Friday for a 5 day field trip. I'm supposed to go to help chaperone 36 14 -15 year olds. We've been planing this trip since Dec. Anyway, when I first told my kids about my cancer his first concern was that I wouldn't be able to go with him. I told him that I would be there with bells on. I would not miss this trip. Well, the dr. seems to think that the itinierary is too much for me and that the pace of the trip will be more than I should do during the week after my treatment. Ladies, please pray that things will turn around. All I need is for the rbc to come up some and not have alot of problems with this last treatment. My son is so worried that I'm going to have to cancel on this trip, and I don't want to dissappoint him. SO please say a prayer. Dr. said he would let me know his reccomendation by the 8th and we leave on the 12th. My son needs me to do this for him....
You ladies are very special to me......
I know that the Lord had a purpose for everything in our lives, I'm still searching for this one, but know He'll show me in His time!

Oh, Susan,

I'm so sorry that this potential conflict has come up, and I know how hard it must be. I hope that you'll be well enough to go on your son's trip, but remember that God knows what you and he need, and He would never withhold something that would be part of His perfect plan for you and your son.

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)

You are so right about God showing us His purposes in His time. Remember, too, that it is most important for you to get well so you can be there for your son in the "long haul". Though I know your son wants you to go on the trip very much, he would never want you to suffer a setback in your treatment.

You will be in my prayers, and I'm sure you'll be letting us know what happens!

Lord, I ask you to bless Susan with a good blood count
and Your abundant strength. Susan and her son
really want to spend some time together on this field
trip. Only You know of her endurance, strength, and
ability to make the trip with five days of sightseeing.
Lord, if it will not be detrimental to her health, then
please grant her strength and energy for the trip
as well as Your Holy angels to surround her and protect her. I
also ask You, Lord, to grant Susan Your healing touch
and remission from cancer. She is such a faithful
servant, and she loves You. Please bless her
completely. Thank you, Lord, for hearing these
prayers. Amen.
I really hope you are able to go, Susan. We all know
that your health and well-being is your first priority.
Hopefully, you can be well and attend the field trip.

I pray that you & your son are able to take this trip. I pray that your health will only be well in the time of your trip as well as when you return. I ask our Father to be with you through the remaining treatments and that he heal your body entirely I ask you Father to comfort Susan physically and mentally now Lord I ask this in Jesus precious name Amen Love Linda

Lord, may your will be done in Susans situation and may you be very glorified because of it. Lord, I ask you to please lay your healing hand on Susan, deliver her from this cancer father and I pray her life be a testimony of your work.

To all of my prayer partners here, Linda,Emily, Locki, Sisterpike, bpearl and Jody, thank you so much for praying for me. I sat down today and read your prayers and words of encouragement and I'm telling you, I feel a warmth all over, but mostly in my heart! You Women are awesome and I love you all. Your words of faith are an inspiration to me, and your prayers are so full of love for the Lord!

I know that the Lord will provide the answer that is best for me, and I'm ready now for whatever that may be. May God bless each and everyone of you abundantly!! Praise the Lord for such wonderful friends!

Hey sisters,

Well, I got the verdict yesterday. I'm going to Washington!!! YAY!!

Dr. did say I have to take it slow,and get lots of rest! Told my son to look after me and even gave me a bracelet to wear!! Not pretty but necessary I guess. So, say a prayer that the trip goes well. My son's really excited and he told dr. he would make sure I didn't over do it, and that I eat the right things. Think we've created a monster!! LOL Anyway, We'll be leaving Friday morning around 7:00 a.m. Be back Tuesday night. thanks for all of your prayers. I am truly blessed.

protect her during this trip. Grant her Your abundant
