just a quick question

hello ladies, thank you for your advice to preveious question, been reading lots and something has just occured to me.
I have a prolaps (seeing gyni April) for 10 years now , would this be why i am allways weeing, i can never go anywhere without going before hand, and making sure a loo is close to hand.
If i drink a cup of tea, i'm visiting the little girls room before i know it, if i drink alot ( and i do some times) it is awfull, in and out to the loo.I feel i carn't go very far without checking the loos!!
Also if i laugh (i do that alot too!) i dribble a little bit same if cough, or sneez and can feel my insides fall downwards, has any one else experienced this or is it unrelated.
I'v never mentioned to GP before as feels like i'v always been like it,
love to you all and thankyou for taking the time to read my question

Hi Suki

I don't know about this. I did not have prolapse. I did have a fibroid that pushed on my bladder when I sneezed. It does seem to be better after surgery. Please discuss with your surgeon and doctor though. Perhaps there would be something else they would want to do during surgery, like a bladder tack.
Even though you have had this along time it is not "normal" nor something you should have to live with. You are getting everything else fixed why not this too.
I did a search for you on prolapse and incontinence. The search button is in the upper right of this page. But here is the string:

Good luck.

just a quick question

My mother has a prolasped bladder and has the same symptoms that you do. You don't say if it is your bladder or uterus that is prolapsed, or maybe you have a little of both.

I am having a proceedure called a burch (tacking the neck of the bladder up into place) to correct that problem. You migth want to ask your gyn about that when you see him.

Keep us informed!
