Little Bit Jittery

Well I am off to preop today at the hospital which should be easy since I just had a D&C two weeks ago, so only blood work this time. Will see doctor also and have enough questions so he better get comfy for a bit.

I am nervous and at this point just want to get it over with. Next Wednesday is the day. Was so happy to find this site and was absolutely confident and fine until this morning and now not quite so sure? Ok, getting hold of myself, know I need this, but I'd rather be vacationing in Tahiti!

I will be praying that all goes well. Maybe after your recovery you should go to a nice tropical island...

hoping all goes well

with your questions and you get all your answers.

Cathi: my pre op was a check up with a ekg, chest xray, blood work, family history etc....nothing scary or nerve wracking. I am more upset about the enemas and laxatives the few days before the surgery....yuck!!

Little Bit Jittery

I only had some pre op bloodwork and a urine sample done. I was not allowed to eat for 12 hours prior to the surgery and never had to have either laxatives or and enema (thank God!!!)
There were no other test done the hospital just told me to call if I started to not feel well. Keep the questions coming. I was too shy to ask prior to my surg and just kept my worries inside. The result was crying every day for about 2 weeks prior to surg. I had a LAVH/kept ovaries and am happy to say all my worries and fears were completely overblown. Don't fret too much. Good luck.
