Femhrt

Hi I am new to this board and I really hope someone can help me with my fears about using femhrt. I am 54 years old and had a hysteretomy when I was 35. I started using estratesthr when I was about 49. It was supposed to help my libido, but it never really did. I had tried using premarin and couldn't. It made me feel really strange. Anyway to make a long story short, I have been to see a new doctor, my old doctor retired and he has switched me to femhrt. Now I dont have a uterus and but still have ovaries, which do not product any estrogen now. My question is has anyone every heard of taking the progestin even though I dont have a uterus. He said he feels that women still need this, because I had endometrius that was the reason for my operation. I guess this will keep the endometruis from growing, I dont know. What am I to expect from this medicine. I am nervous about it. I hope it will help with my depression. I am taking zoloft and that really isnt working. Thanks for any help. Sorry this is so long, but I just feel so anxious.
Thanks,
BonnieR

Femhrt

Bonnie,
I've not taken Femhrt but I found this thread that you might find helpful. I think I remember reading here that sometimes progestin may be better for those with endo. I'll see if I can find that thread.
