lol, we all have the same problems, and basically have the same ideas to cure the mess.

I got to a point where I just cleaned up my stuff, my family's stuff laying around after I asked to clean or put away, went out the and into the yard.

Screaming and yelling doesn't seem to do it, they are all deaf! Vision is very good though. That is what I had figured out.

Hi, In the real world if you don't work--- you don't eat. Therefore my kids were not allowed to eat until their chores were done and their messes cleaned up. Once they were Jr. High and older I bought everybody their own dishes. They each had a plate, bowl and cup everyone had their own color. Then I went to Goodwill and bought everyone their own pattern of silver ware. I also got a sponge with a handle that fills up with dish soap. This way everyone was responsible for their own dishes. It worked wonders... No one starved to death and all are now adults with great work ethics. I was a mother--not a maid. It was my job to train them not pamper them.
