My date

I just got done updating my profile to include my surgery date -- something I hoped I would never have to do, & something I thought I wouldn't do, just to make it seem less real. But, perhaps listing it will now help to make me realize that it is going to be real.
I went to see my doctor again today, the 4th time this week -- it would really help if they would install a revolving door. lol!! I am a small, bit more at peace with the decision, but I am still scared, sad, depressed, etc.
I really appreciate all the help I've gotten from this site! The last links I requested for hyperplasia really helped too, as I try to sort through all this!
Just wanted to let you know.

I am so glad to hear you have got your date finally set. I think it is hard to come to terms with - mine is the 22nd and it seems so far off, like a dream! I will be thinking of you and wish you the best! The ladies here are wonderful and you will find loads of helpful information. It is a wonderful starting ( and middle and ending ) place!

My date

Getting more real for me, too ... 10th. Had pre-op today and took along my 9-year old ds, a great distractive factor! Mostly, I'm feeling numb until the kids fight. Hyperplasia, too and ... yes ... my period started yesterday (1st since December)! Guess it's mother nature's last laugh, but at least relieves a few of the cramps. Distraction is good for me, as long as I'm totally free to obsess as I need and want ... Hang in there.
