Thanks to all for sharing!

I am scheduled for tah 4-8-02. I am sooo ready and getting a little scared. I have had endo
and adhesions for 11 years. After 2 c-sections and 2 laps, I have had it. The pain is
awful and the bleeding has gotten out of control. It gives me hope to hear how you all
have gone thru a lot of the same stuff and I hope my surgery gives the relief I need.

I haven't seen anyone mention insurance in all this. The reason I waited so long to do
the surgery was that my dh and I became self employed 8 yrs. ago and when we had to
get an individual policy, they excluded me cuz of endo. It took 8 years with no treatment
before I would apply for other coverage and finally got some. It is costing me an arm and let
but hopefully will be worth it.

It isn't fair to put up with the pain and endo and then not have insurance coverage to get
help! Anyone else frustrated with the insurance industry?

Thanks for all your sharing. I have spent a lot of time on this site and it has helped me
feel better about everything. I'm only sorry I didn't find it sooner!

Love,
Brenda

Hi Brenda

I am so happy you are getting the surgery you need. Good luck to you.
If you want to get more input on the insurance situation you might want to title one of your posts "Insurance Coverage" or something to that effect. I have seen some discussions on that awhile back. You could also do a search using the Search button in the upper right corner of this page.
