On more thing...sorry!!

Also I have back trouble with an old disc injury, just wondered how do you sleep in the hospital and at home, on your side or your back?

If on your back, would it be possible to have a pillow under my legs to support my back?

Thanks again!
What would I do without all of you!!!! ((((((hugs)))))))

Hi Trish

Sure just ask the nurses for an extra pillow. I also had purchased the Hystersisters Tummy Pillow and Totel. That pillow came in handy for all kinds of extra support in the hospital and at home.

P.S. I am a tummy sleeper, but I survived.

You can usually sleep either way. Tummy sleeping is out for a while.

I used lots of pillows. For sleeping on my side, the nurse showed me how to put them behind me to support my back and under my tummy to support that, too. Also, you can have one between your knees if that helps.

When I was on my back I had a pillow under my knees and another farther down under my legs. One nurse, when she came to help me, said "Oh yeah, I remember now, your the one who likes the pillows this weird way." But she helped me with them and they worked great for me. It really helped take the pressure off my back and my tummy.

Happy Dreaming.

Before surgery, my nurses asked if I had back problems. When I said yes, they put a folded pillow under each knee. They were still there after.

I'm having some back troubles since I got home, but didn't have any in the castle. Yay nurses!

I make a point of doing old PT exercises to stretch and move my low back around.

Good luck!
