Aches & pains

Hi
I am on combined estrogen/progestrogen oral HRT femiston conti & upped dosage as bloods showed low estrogen to 2mg estrogen 10 mg progestrerone. Felt better less meno symptoms but the past month have ha bad muscular/joint pains & contniual forehead headache. Doc has suggested trying transdermal patch & has RX Evorel Conti combined patch. Need a combination as had severe endometriosis to help control & stop any microscopic endo left after my TAH/BSO.
Has anyone had success with combined patch?
Do you think it will improve symptoms of aches & pains/headache?
Do you think I would benefit natural prgestrone on top of this as reading through arcives shows success with this symptom. Or would I overdose using this on top?
Any pointers would be appreiciated
Thanks Tina xxxxxxxx

Aches & pains

Hi Tina, I really not sure about getting too much progesterone. I know I lowered my dose of progesterone and not my estrogen and my feet and ankles started to ache again. I have found progesterone really helps with my aches and pains. Talk to your Dr. and see what he/she says. You may want to see how that patch works and then add a some extra progesterone a little bit at a time if you are achy???

good luck
