What we deal with, What Others deal with

Oops, my poor DH, yesterday I had a real bad day, lots and lots of pain, and I finally blew up at my DH, told him I didn't want him at the hospital, etc.......

I had the poor guy practically in tears, he came back at me and said not to be so stupid we are always there for each other and we have been (25 yrs-since soph's in highschool) we are like best of friends.

But the thought here is I am going through hell, but the family is going through just as much, dealing with me and I do have to admit my DH and DS handle me very well, they turn around and start teasing me, but that is okay cause in a couple of weeks they will be catering to a princess, and I am sure they will pull some quick ones on me.

So anyways I am taking the DH out to dinner tonite, I just hate when I get so crabby!

Good Woman Archide! My DH got a few undeserved grrrrrrrrrrrs too. Glad you can take him out for dinner. I had to sit my dh and ds down and tell them I was temporarily totally nuts and that I'd return to my normal insane self shortly. s

Here's sending some s your way! It's easy to be crabby when we're dealing with pain and the stress of an upcoming surgery. I'm so glad your dh and kids can see past your moods and know you really still love them. They sound like they will be a great support team for you after your hyst. Hope the days before your castle trip will go quickly for you, and that it will be over before you know it. You'll be feeling so much better when you're into recovery. Best wishes!
