Got home Wed. from April 1st surgery

Everything went well and was what I expected. Had the surgery on 4/1 at 8am and was in my room by 11. Sent my Dear Husband home around 1 and just rested the rest of the day and took pain meds. Tuesday I was out of bed and walking but still didn't feel like a shower. But on Wednesday I got up and showered and was ready to go...just a little sluggish from a slight fever. The doctor let me come home on Wed but wanted me to stay for another day because of low grade fever. I assured him that I would behave at home, so he discharged me. The rest of Wednesday and Thursday I pretty much stayed down but did walk, drink and rest. Friday was my turn around day that I went from bad to great and today I am doing really good. I am still doing exactly what I am supposed to walk, drink and rest. But I am not nearly as sore as I was. Prayers to all in waiting and I hope it all goes as well as mine. Thank you for all your encouragement.

I agree with Moco. I needed some encouragement in that area. I find out tomorrow what time I have to be at the castle on Tuesday. Hope you continue a wonderfully short recovery but don't push yourself too far.

Rose, welcome to Princessville !!! So good to have you with us over on the other side.

Here's to continued improvement in your health, remember not to overdo it and be sure to listen to your body when it says it's done enough for the day !!

Continue to drink plenty of water and juices to keep from becoming dehydrated and REST, REST, REST and REST some more.

God speed to you !!!

Paula
