uncomfortable
hi,deebee. the numbness at the top of your legs alarms me. i'd be more apt to concern myself with that, than the sensation in the area of the incision. do you,or anyone in your family, have a history of health problems that this sensation could be a sign of? like anything to do with high blood pressure, but not limited to that particular ailment? is there pain accompanying the sensation? i am not having problems with my scar, but sometimes i feel a slight stinging sensation, that may result from sitting upright too long(i usually feel it in the office, during the day;not necessarily more than a coincidence. just something to make me want to get up and move around more than i normally do). i am 8 1/2 months post-op with a TAH. i kept the ovaries, since my hyst was for uterine fibroids, and cervical carcinoma in situ. i hope your doctor can shed some light on the problem with the numbness,if it is of concern to her/him.
