Finally!!!

In January I decided to have my surgery, but because of work, I decided to wait until June. I have been going nuts for the last 3 months waiting for June. Well, today I called my doctor to see if I could get a refill on mt Vicodin, which he gave me. But while I was on the phone, I thought I'd ask when his June schedule would be coming out so I'd have some idea of how much longer I'd have to wait for my surgery to be scheduled. His June schedule is not out yet, but he set a tentative date for June 25th. Even though it's just a tentative date, I was really excited to get it. I have been waiting 3 months for this and at first I was completely scared and then I kept questioning whether or not I was doing the right thing. Now it seems so real. I can't believe it's really going to happen. I feel ready. Now I just have to make it through another 2 1/2 months.

Finally!!!

I think I know what you mean...made up my mind in Dec,waited for an appoinment until March 20 with the surgeon, now waiting for preop April 25, and waiting for surgery May 13. Sound familiar?
Right now I'm thinking that this is the way that it was supposed to go, for some reason. One of the hardest things for me to do is to let go and trust that things will work out. Especially having people work on my private parts! I guess I'm lucky to be able to get this surgery at all.
I wonder how many women suffered most of their life, or for the rest of their life because they could not get surgery, or any help back in the old days?
Sending Lots of Love, Hope and s
Your sister in Waiting,
Sandy
