Help I think I am ready??/

Wow, I thought I had been prepared. You are ready. One little hint.....bring an old robe and slipper to the castle, not the new ones. You may leak and you don't want to ruin your pretty new things. I had very little flow after my LAVH but the first time I stood up I did manage to dribble some blood on my slippers. The fan idea is a good one. I even had the nurse put one in my room at the castle just to have a little breeze. Good luck sweetie!!!!

Ear Plugs

Nobody has mentioned this on the site, but I brought ear plugs to the hospital and it helped me sleep thru noise when I wanted to sleep.....(between 11pm and 4am) even though the nurses don't come in to bug you after the first night, when there are emergencies and chaos in the halls, it gets quite noisy. I use earplugs at home, so I may be excessive in that, but if it helps you sleep, it's worth it...because sleep is one of the hardest things to get in the hospital....just a thought...good luck
