So Tired!!!!

Why am I so tired today? I went to bed at 9 o'clock last night. Not sleeping soundly due to new bed (switched from water bed to regular). But we got the new bed on Sunday. Got up with lots of energy Monday & Tuesday in spite of the time change. Wish I could go home from work, but can't. Have to save those days.

Well, only 2 more days of work after today. Surgery on Monday. Not nervous yet. I'm sure it will hit me Sunday.

So Tired!!!!

Lots of us get worn out preparing and the stress of surgery alone can make you tired. Maybe you won't get nervous,....just tired!
Will be praying for you on your day!
Rest up after and drink a lot before too! It helps them insert the IV if fully hydrated!
I know too, when we swtitched from a water bed to regular, I didn't sleep for a week very well! I still miss my water bed! It realy helped with the fibromyalgia and muscle cramps!
Best of luck!

So Tired!!!!

I had trouble sleeping too. My primary did prescribe and anti-anxiety med for the night before. It helped. But I had trouble sleeping for the whole week before surgery. and I had trouble getting allthe things done Ihad planned to. Guess what? It didn't turn out to matter. All that worry for nothing....sure wasted a lot of energy. Maybe that was why I was tired.

Like everyone else says, the waiting is the hardest. and I did start with that "What if this is the last time ...." I forced myself to start saying,"Next time this week i'll be out of surgery...Next time this week I'll be walking the halls, Next time this week i'll be going home." Try it.

And make sure you keep posting any thoughts or fears. I'm sure someone else here has experienced them.

So Tired

I've also been very tired. My date for TVH with bladder suspension and fixing ofrectocele is April 18. I've slep for 12 hours last night, and 11 hours the night before, and I get exhausted during the day. Why? Our dates are fast approaching. I can't wait to have it done!
