Home from the Castle

I can't believe it's over, but I'm home from the Castle!
Surgery was Tues and all went well. Got pretty emotional in pre-op in OR.

Tues was pretty much a blurr. Wed wasn't much better. Shower was great, but walking was terrible. Thurs was another story. Actually began to feel human. Today is a whole other story. 24hrs makes a world of difference. I woke up this morning starving and ready to go home. Didn't think Dr was ever gonna get there.

Been home about 2 hrs and can't get comfortable or sleep. Will keep trying.

Off to lay down but need a drink first. The waiting truly is the worst part. Good luck to all the !

This is off to bed!

s Mojo!
Everyday will get a bit better. Sounds like you are being a good princess. Keep drinking, resting and taking care of yourself. Even after surgery we can feel very emotional ... not only are we coping with hormone changes but a great stress release. Be patient, keep smiling and take it a day at a time! You're doing great!

Princess Mojo

You are wearing that crown well. Each day will get even better. I was uncomfortable when I first got home and then I lay back in my recliner my fav place to sleep and went out like a light. Thanks for the undate. So glad you are doing great. God Bless.

The Light

Welcome Home. Sounds like you sailed right through. Congrats! I'm home 6 days now. Now the waiting is different because you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, you just can't walk too fast to get there. Take it easy. Take care.

Home from the Castle

(((((MoJo)))))

Welcome Home!!!!

Glad everything went well for you, remember to be a good so you don't find the Pillow at your door.

When I got home form the castle, I was uncomfy laying flat. I asked DH to lift up the mattress so I could put a couple of old comfortors folded underneath it to raise it up a little bit. Could anyone there possibly help you try that? OH, and do NOT try to do it yourself...that was my first boo-boo post-op <shhhhh, don't tell on me>

Love & Hugs
