Question?

Lynne,
I've read posts that say their incision was as small as 5 inches, others that said their incision was 11 inches. I think part of this depends on the size of the lady!

My incision was about 7 1/2 inches. So, I'd say about average size.

Hope this helps you.

Incision Size

Well, my Dr has said he would only do about 2", but my uterus was so enlarged due to fibroids, he did about 5 1/2". As long as the Dr stayed within the bikini line, it didn't much matter to me.
I can't say if there is an average. The Dr just can't predict how much room he/she will need to do the job. So they can't really promise you anything.
