questions

Good morning everyone,

Question, should I plan to have grandma stay longer than 3 weeks? I have 3 kids, dh is not here at this time. I really feel uncomfortable asking for help (I have the superwoman syndrome) but I want to be a good princess when I leave the castle, and not over due it. All my children go to school, and have activity, they really are good kids, and I hate tell them no. This is really hard I wish DH was here so I don't have to make all these choice by myself. I am so looking forward to this surgery, since mines is related to PMDD, I have felt like I was two to three different people at times, and my poor kids have endured it all.

second question, recently I have had a lot of problems with high levels of hematuria, kidney pain. Had several test done to rule out cyst, kidney trouble, or tumors. after reading some of the threads I related to alot of them. Is it possible they could have missed it, and will find it when they go in? They never could explain why I was haven't the problems.

questions

I think this is the time to take the very best care of yourself and those kids of your will profit for it later on... I know about the superwoman thing but ya know what this is surgery and it takes time to heal internally, I'd take all the help I can get if I were you... but take each day as it comes and give yourself time... I think you'll have good days and bad days esp. in the beginning... my surgery is the 23 or this month... I've had 3 c sections all with no help and I wish I did have it...
about them missing your kidney problems.. I don't know about that except that my adeno and fibroids were missed with vaginal ultrasounds...they showed only a few cysts so I insisted that there was SOMTHING wrong... asked what other tests they could use and doc ordered an MRI..... and found the problems....
I am about 80 lbs overweight and being overweight can cause problems to go undiagnoised with the everyday kind of tests... so if you've all the whole gamit of tests then I don't know... best wishes and take good care,
kara

Hi Dorla

That is wonderful that your Grandma can come and stay with you and the kids for 3 weeks. Hopefully you will be doing pretty well by that point. With the DH and kids helping out after that you should be okay. Just remember not to over do it. Naturally you will need to wait and see how you feel. If she can stay longer if needed that would be great too.
I don't know about the other pain you are experiencing. But let the doctor know what is going on. Perhaps some further tests are in order.
