Passing Gas

I have a silly (somewhat embarrassing question) regarding passing gas . Which I know is a good thing, but here is my question.....

Will it be loud and noticeable? Smell??? This is not something I normally do in public so help?

I am considering bringing air freshner to the castle and maybe even one of those plug-ins.

Thanks

LOL

that is sooo funny because I was concerned that I would be in a room at castle someone else, so I made sure I would have a private room ( which I am going to a womens and babies hopital they only admit women) and they only have private rooms!!! Thank God!! I told dh I don't want to be passing gas with a room mate and her vistors there listening to me and like you said does it smell!!!

Whew

I guess once again we are all different. Mine were nice little ones in my private room under the covers.
I was waiting for an explosion :explode: during one of my hall walks while wearing my Hystersister cover-up. What an advertisement. Fortunatley for me and everyone else on my floor it didn't happen that way.

Passing Gas

You may not believe this but I had no gas at all! I dont know if it was because of having an epidural instead of general anesthesia, but whatever it was, I sure was glad because that was one thing I didnt have to worry about post op!

Passing Gas

Believe it or not, at 6 weeks post-op, I'm just now beginning to have some smell from my . I don't know if this is because it takes awhile for your intestines to get geared back up.

All the time I was at the castle I only had very small ones which hurt like heck, were silent and didn't smell. At least with me, it felt like they were rubbing up against the backside of my incision. Maybe it was because they were traveling through my already traumatized intestines.

Hope this helps you out a bit !!
