anyone else feel this way?

In January I decided to have my hysterectomy. I knew that I needed to wait until June to have it because of work. I spent the last three months completely scared about the surgery and I kept wondering if I was really doing the right thing. About 1 week ago I started feeling really ready. It was actually the day my doctor gave me a tentative date. Getting that date made it seem so real and I guess I "came to terms" with having to have this surgery. I feel so confident that I will be okay and that my life will be so much better after the surgery. It's a nice feeling. I have all of you to thank. I have been coming to this website most days since November and you all have helped me so much! I am so much more informed about this and I feel like I have made the right decision. Thank you everyone for being so supportive!

's to all of you

anyone else feel this way?

Hi, Pasdechat! Glad you are finding support and helpful info here. It is a great site, isn't it? I know it really helped me to feel positive about having a hyst, and to know that so many women have come through it well, even better than they were before. I'm glad you're feeling confident about your decision and are getting ready to be a pampered princess! s and best wishes!
