HI all, I was chatting the other night in the h-s chat room and got the best idea, renting a hospital bed table for when you get home, well I searched all over the area i live in and couldnt rent one anywhere. so i went to walmart and looked for a lap table, well couldnt find one of those either (i live in a tiny town and our walmart is really small), but i did find one of those countertop ironing boards for about $5. it works pretty good, its sturdy and it folds up small so shouldnt take up too much room, ok, well thats my idea, hope it helps someone, i have less than 48 hours to go and am really going crazy, LOL. take care, and will chat w/ya later,

Hi Lynn!

Great idea! I didn't have such a table, but thought it to be a great idea when I read it here before my surgery. I stayed mostly on the living room futon and the coffee table served me well, but I can see how a higher standing bed would need some kind of place to have the items we do need to have conveniently located.

Thanks for sharing this!

s and Best wishes as you approach the castle!

That's a great idea!

I have a waterbed on a platform so the base of a hospital table would not be able to go under my bed
Think I need to look for a small ironing board now. Hey it will get a lot of use too since I only iron a few things weekly and hate dragging out the big one!!
Thanks for the tip!
