Home from the castle

Hi LIW & es,

I am now a . I came home from the castle late Friday afternoon. It has been a bit of an up and down for me, but mostly I am very positive about this experience. I had complications during surgery-they couldn't do the bladder repair as I lost over a quart of blood and they felt it too dangerous to continue. Then I had a couple other problems during my stay. I'll talk about them later. The hospital and staff were wonderful and took excellent care of me.

I am so glad I did this. My biggest problem is getting the rest I need. Trying to use my training here, just can't get comfortable to sleep. I also have started coughing-nasty, but sure love having my tummy pillow right with me. It is probably my best investment.

Pillow Police are after me. I'll post again when I am a little better. Thank you all for your love and support.

s and ers for all you LIW who have surgery Monday,

Thanks so much Sharon for posting..

I'm so sorry to hear you had complications with your surgery.I'm glad to hear they had good judgement on when to stop the surgery because you were losing to much blood. It sure helps with the hospital staff being so wonderful.I'm happy to hear they took good care of you.Now rememebr to drink lots, rest lots,& walk to get your blood circulation going... it also helps you so don't get stiff & with any gas you might have. Please take it easy & keep up posted on how your doing. You look beautiful in your new crown !

Welcome back Sharina,

So sorry about your complications. The one thing now that jumps out to me is your coughing. Please tell your doctor and be aware of your circulation. Little blood clots can cause problems.
Walk, walk, and walk some more.

We'll wait for your next post and hopefully you will have gotten some much needed rest in between your walking.
