Maybe Better Off

Well ladies, come to find out, my doc is off till Wednesday the 17th. Thank goodness the pain is not too bad, but can't take anything more than Tylenol (not had pre-op yet, but know the drill). Just hoping I can deal with the pain till after surgery. MIght be better off not taking pain meds now, as I will need them later.

Oh yeah... I was previously concerned about use of PCA at this hospital I will be having surgery at. Didn't think they had it available. I know that might sound strange, but this is a military hospital and sometimes they are "out dated" Anyways, they do have PCA here, as I found out this weekend. A friend of mine was on it after c-section. Anywho, will still be asking doc about this and to find out if she will have me on the PCA or shots or what. 8 days to go, so far so good. We'll see what I am like this weekend

Amy, you'll do great!!

I'm 17 days post-op from an LAVH/LSO and it's *so* much better on *this* side of the surgery. You'll do fine and the pain can be managed. Things will be better and you'll be so glad you did it - I know I am!!

Hugs and prayers to you for a great surgery and a wonderful, restful recovery! Remember to *rest*!!!

Love, Sue
