Please Pray for my Nephew

Please pray for my nephew and his family. Matt and Mark were born 10 weeks premature 11 years ago this July. Since their arrival here on earth it has been an uphill battle for them and their parents. Both boys are asthmatic and have many problems both mental and physical. This prayer request is for Mark. Mark has cerebral palsy and five years ago underwent surgery on his back to enable him able to walk and sit up better. That was a horrific two months as my sister and brother in law had to leave him at the hospital during the week to return to work and would drive back there on the weekends to "visit" him. Mark had to stay in the hospital for recovery, observation and intense physical therapy.

Fast forward to now -- Mark is again having difficulty with his walking and is a candidate for surgery once again. It is scheduled for May 16 and involves breaking his leg bone, realigning the leg, followed by more intense physical therapy. If that were not enough, my sister in law called in tears last night because she took Mark into the doctor for a routine physical and the doctor discovered something was not right with his heart!! He sent them to the hospital immediately for tests and x-rays and Mark sees the pediatric cardiologist on Monday. Needless to say, the family is overwhelmed with this latest development. As they were driving home Mark said from the back seat "Mom, I hope my heart isn't failing."

Please say a prayer for Mark and his family. My sister in law and Mark are both such fighters and have such a tremendous faith foundation. I am blessed to have them in my life.

the Lord will touch them with His healing hand. This
must be a scary time for all of them. I pray that our Lord
will grant them peace with the knowledge that God

I am praying that your nephew and his family get through this time in their life. I pray that Mark's surgery goes well and uneventful. I pray that his recovery and physical therapy go smoothly with the least amount of pain possible. I also pray that the tests for his heart come back normal. I know God will be with them every step of the way. He will help them.

We're praying for Mark and his family Sandy. I know that this is a difficult time for them all. I pray that the tests go well and no problems are found with his heart. Seems like they've had alot of health issues, and it's hard to see our children suffer. But you know what? God sees and knows, and He'll intervene in His time. I know, easy to say, but it is true if we can just wait and waiting is very hard to do. Please know that I'm praying for this family daily and you are all in my thoughts.

Father we ask that You touch this family. The children that you gave them are having some health problems. Mark is in need of a special touch Lord for his heart. He's scared and so is his family. Father please touch them with a calm that only You can give. Touch Marks body and heal whatever the problems may be. Touch as he has his surgery on his legs, ease the pain of this procedure, and help him to come though it with flying colors. Bless his parents Lord ,ease their worry, and bless them with a renewed strength knowing that You are in control, and You will be with them every step of the way. Thank You Father for what You are going to do in this family's life, and for Mark, we bless Your holy name!

The pediatric cardiologist said Mark has a harmless heart murmur. We are all so grateful and happy to know he is alright! Mark's mom called and was so thankful for all the prayers. The doctor okayed Mark's upcoming surgery on May 16th to break his leg and realign it so he can walk better. His mom is very scared about this procedure but is anxious to have it done so Mark can hopefully do the things most 10 yr. old boys do -- especially sports. As of right now he cannot even walk to his classrooms and has a wheelchair in school and a walker at home.
