I did it ~ I'm home

Thank you from the bottom of my heart - I truly could not have gotten through this without all of you. I knew you were right - but couldn't accept that the 'waiting was the worst'. For all of you LIW, for what it's worth, that is definitely true.

The two worst times for me were about an hour after surgery (didn't like the morphene) and the ride home today. Definitely need a pillow and try to avoid the holes!!!

My dh has limited my computer time tonight. I'll write again tomorrow with the details.

Thanks again - I definitely have a this evening.

The pillow police are coming - talk to you soon........

Barb,
Welcome home!

DH is right, sitting at the computer is an activity and right now you need to keep your feet propped up.

Thanks for the words of encouragement for other LIW. As you now know, the waiting is torture compared to the recovery. So glad to hear you are doing well. Come back when you're up to it and share some of the details of your castle stay!

Welcome home!

Have DH get your computer up and running and to your favorite site -- then take your 10 minutes of computer time and enjoy it!

Thanks

I am a LIW. And thanks for reconfirming that, waiting is the hardest. From what I am learning on this site, I never thought that I would see the day that I could not do anything. In other words let DH do the Grocery Shopping. Let DD do the vacuming(SP), etc. etc. This will be very interesting!!! Anyway, Barb welcome back!!!
