im home!

Hi all, I am home from the castle. i feel pretty weak, but i am doing ok. the castle was noisy, i was on OB floor, and they had a record number of babies being born and no nurses to be found, had to wait forever for pain meds, but I am home now and glad to be around my kids and in my nice soft bed.

surgery went good, took longer because of more damage than my doc had originally anticipated, but everything was done vaginally, so i should be recovering soon.

best advice i can give to someone who is going to the castle, make sure someone can stay with you, my fiance had to work nights, so i was by myself, and i really felt alone, maybe that sounds weird, but i actually cried last night because i was scared. and the next thing---WALK as much as you are able, they wouldnt let me walk really until this morning and when i finally did, was able to have BM, and then i could go home.

hope this helps and is coherent, those drugs are really making me loopy! LOL
take care,
the new princess,
Lynn

Hi Lynn

Great to hear that you are home and surgery went well. Now all those pre-op jitters are behind you. By the way dahling, that crown looks maaaaaaahvelous!!

Now be a good princess, rest rest rest, drink plenty of water, walk a little bit, snooze a lot, take your pain meds on schedule, and take it easy during your recovery.

Hope to see you back in chat soon, but NOT before you're ready to sit up at the computer.
