Shining my new crown!!!

Just returned home from the castle after Monday's surgery. Although tumor was fast growing there was no cancer.
Our floor was strictly hysterectomy floor so that was a good thing. I opted not to do the epidural and they put a pain pump on the i.v. and I never had to use it. They also had a small amount of pain medication going through the i.v.
I'm rough and know I have had surgery but my main complaint now is the throat irritation from the tubes.
My doctor and hospital was really good and I know that can help immensely.
Although I wouldn't have believed it - waiting is truly the worst - waiting to go and then waiting to sign those releases to go home.
I have a great family who will see to it that I follow all the instructions and don't overdue it.

Take care and you'll feel much better when it's done.

God Bless, Kathy

thanks kathy

what great news for you. I am so glad you had a good trip to the castle.

I had severe throat pain on one side after my lap, try gargling with warm salt water....ick but dont swallow it...makes your tummy upset. Other than that I took tylenol for the throat pain.

Congrats on your shiny new crown.
