changed my mind on t/t

Hi everyone, I did some checking on the tummy tuck yesterday and talked myself out of it. It would cost approx. $7,500 and I would have to postpone my surgery almost a month, and I just didn't think it would be worth it. And that is alot of $$$$!! So it will be diet and exercise for me. Good luck to everyone on Monday, you will all be in my prayers.
Love, Roni

changed my mind on t/t

Hi Roni. I had a TAH 14 months ago. I now have to go for bladder work. They will open me via the same incision. Hospital stay and recovery will be comparable to my TAH. I am recently considering having a tt. I think I'll postpone my surgery a bit and gahter more info. $7500 seems like a lot. I thought they were more around $4000. I don't know if I could have been brave enough to handle it before. Now I think I'm ready. I've heard tt are not easy to recover from painwise and I think they leave a tube hanging out somehow to clear fluids. I'm not real sure. Anyone have any tt info.? It would be appreciated.

Hope your trip to the castle is a smooth one.

Hi

I just did a search on tummy tuck using our purple search button in the upper right corner. Here is one of the lengthier threads.
Good luck in whatever you decide.
