I'm sooo ready!!

Well---I check into the castle Thursday morning at 6:30 am. I can't help thinking about it most of the day today (I must have too much free time!) I've packed my bag with new jammies and robe and nice lotion, new chapsticks and other necessaries.

Since I've been waiting for my surgery for about 2 1/2 months, I was hoping I could've dropped some weight beofre heading in. I guess I've been a little more stressed than I thought cuz I've been really into "comfort food". Oh well----

I'm planning to pamper myself. Wednesday I have an hour massage planned in the afternoon. I'll work Monday and 1/2 a day on Tuesday. Mom asked if I have casseroles pre-made and in the freezer----I don't think so----that's what Costco is for

I'm sooo ready!!

It sounds as if you are not only prepared, but remarkably relaxed! Good for you.

I did the comfort food thing, too, but now am starting to lose weight with little effort at 2 months post. I have enough energy to walk and exercise several times a week- you will feel so much better in time. Don't stress!
Be sure and keep up the water intake before surgery, it is helpful before as well as after.
Get a pedicure if you are able, it will make you feel so much better sliding between the sheets! (Polish is ok for your toes)

What a great idea to get a pedicure---don't know if I can squeeze it in but I think I might at least slap a little polish on these toenails tonight.

The water intake is a good idea also. I've also been doubling up on my iron (per my docs recommendation) and taking it twice a day. It's made me feel rather wretched. My gut is uncomfortable and feels bloated and irritable. I guess that's another reason for the comfort foods. I really prefer bland carbo type foods right now.

I'll be so glad when this is all over---I'm sure I'll feel much more human!! (and to get rid of this 3 month size uterus has got to help!!)

rincess: to be!!! SOON!!
