Please pray

Sisters,
I've been reading the posts here and am a firm believer in the power of God thru prayer. My grandson Mitchell (he will be two in June) got hurt yesterday playing and has a broken leg.

He has a great doc and will see a specialist tomorrow for the casting. He lives next door to us and so we see him daily.

I ask for prayer for him, his parents and for us. His baby sister or brother is due May 15th.

I thank God that this waited until I was healed up enough to help with him now. God is good-all the time

I thank God for you daily and this site has been such a blessing to me.

God Bless You All,

(((era))))

Hey sweetie,
I'm so sorry your grandson has a broken leg. Please know that Mitchell and his parents and all of you are in our prayers.

Father we ask you to bless Mitchell. Touch his body and help ease the pain of his broken leg. We ask Lord that you be with his mother as she prepares for the birth of a new baby. Touch and bless in a mighty way. Be near era's family and let them feel your presence near. Surround them with your love and draw them near to You during this time. We praise You for all you are going to do for this family, thank you for touching Mitchell. We praise Your name Lord for You alone are worthy of our praise. In Christ's name, Amen!

Please let us know how Mithchell progresses! Big 's to you, and Mitchell.
In Christ,
Susan

Please pray

I pray that our Lord grant Mitchell His complete healing
touch with his leg becoming even stronger. I also pray
that our Lord grant your family peace about this situation.
Kids are very resilient. When my friend's daughter was
about 2 or 3, she had surgery for a hip problem. She
had the cast from her waist to her feet, and could only
crawl. That little girl was fine with it, and learned to
crawl very quickly. The cast may be annoying to
Mictchell at first, but I bet he will quickly adjust and still
get around fine. This will probably be harder on the family
than on him. Please keep us posted about Mitchell.

Mitchell update

Hi sisters

Thanks so much for all your prayers. We feel them in our hearts and souls.

We just got back from the doc and the break was a little worse than they had first thought as the first set of x-rays weren't complete enough. But it was still a "simple" break and required no surgery to set. We are very thankful for that

DD is doing ok. She is very tired and due with baby #2 in three weeks Hope it waits I think.

I am very tired today and have major swelly belly. Too much heavy lifting (30 lbs) and I plan to rest now for a while.

I praise God that this waited until now so I could help. The doc thinks that in a few days Mitchell will be walking again on his cast. He walked very early (8-9 mo) so to see him down is hard

God Bless You Sisters and Thanks again,
Elaine

Please pray

Elaine, it's time to call out the pillow police!!!! PLEASE do
not pick Mitchell up!! You are too early in your recovery
to be lifting 30 lbs. I know Mitchell needs some TLC,
but please hug him, kiss him, love him, but PLEASE do
not pick him up. Mitchell knows that you have a
"sore tummy," so he will understand. Very young children
really do understand and accept more than we think,
and they are very resilient. Mitchell will be walking with
his new cast in no time. Praise God that he did not
need surgery with a simple break. Now, I will pray that
our Lord allow his leg to heal well and quickly. Also, I
will pray for your recovery as well. Please take care of
yourself.

Please pray

Thank you all for your prayers. I have done tooooo much I am sore and very tired and unable to rest well again.

I am such a mom-gma person.... I hate to see my DD trying to hold him, deal with the emotions, and having contractions.... (I dont want her baby coming early)....

I think the carrying him did it more than the lifting actually. So, today I have hugged him and not picked him up at all. We are going to borrow a wagon, but he still has to be put into it.....

He is soooooo fussy and crying. I wonder if he needs something for pain? He is just on tylenol now.

Continued prayer would be greatly appreciated. I feel like having a pity party today

I did make it to our prayer group at my church today and that helped too.

God Bless You Sisters,
Elaine

You are truly a Mom!

(((Elaine)))))

It's just like a mother, to forget her pain and problems and think about her children and grandchildren, but I agree with Locki, you have to be careful and resist the urge to pick up your grandson,I know it's hard!you need to take care of yourself so that you can heal right. I will be paying for you to have a good recovery, for your grandson leg to heal and your dd that all goes well with her delivery. Lord I am asking that you help Elaine to be able to rest and contiue to heal the right way, heal her grandson Mitchell's leg, and bless her dd to have a smooth delivery, bless this family in your name, Amen. God bless you.
