vitamin supplements for immune system

Hi Susan, there are quite a few of us who take various supplements to boost our immune systems.

This is a great link with lots of information :

http://www.gcsq.org.au/resources/com...onalsupplement

I take COQ10 ; selenium ; spirulina ; flax seed oil and grape seed oil capsules ; vitamin A & E oil as well as a herbal mix made up specifically for me by my herbalist. All of these have been prescribed by her .

*Remember , I am not a natural health advisor , just an ordinary girl trying to do the best for her body. You must always discuss taking supplements with your Dr *

Susan

I take flax seed oil, fish oil, b6 and b12, and a baby aspirin (to reduce inflamation), BUT all of this is with my doctor's knowledge. It is sooo important to let them know what you are doing, especially if you are actively undergoing chemo or radiation.

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy this stuff online?

When I started, I bought my supplements at a little natural food store, but now I buy them at drugstore.com.

I would suggest walking through a store before you buy on-line. The folks tend to be pretty helpful and you also get a look at some of the stuff (do you want your flax seed oil in a bottle or in pills?).

Susan,
Does this mean you've decided to have the hyst? Did you get the other opinions yet? Just wondering. We're there for you no matter what you decide.
