SOS - Breasts in Distress - Missing in Action

Dear Sisters,

I have a question that may seem vain, especially in light of all the quality of life challenges that can occur as the body adjusts post-up, but would you help me out with your experience/information regarding this matter?

I am 15 months post-op, and all hormone adjustment, etc. has finally settled down. The problem is, my breasts are gone, almost completely empty of any breast mass, and they now look very, very unnatural.

This is not just a "small chest complex"- I was a modest 38 B, and my breast are prematurely empty now, a AA maybe?, due to surgical menopause.

I've looked at breast augmentation info. , and that looks rather intense.

Has anyone experienced this/had any success with the "natural bust enlargement" formulas? The ones I have looked at contain hormone-influencing herbs, and don't look like they'd be a very wise combo with an established HRT regimen.

I would really appreciate perspectives, experience re: this- am calling the doctor's office ASAP, too----------

Thank you much,
Barb

SOS - Breasts in Distress

Dear Barb,

I'm so sorry to hear of what you are going through. I don't think it sounds vain at all. I know that I would be concerned....

I can't say that I have any experience with this. I do think that my breasts have shrunk a little....just don't seem the same!

I'm glad you are seeking out medical advice. I'll be very curious to see your post following your dr's appointment. I'm so sorry that I don't have any light to shed on this....I do think you are wise for not messing with your hormonal balance etc.

Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing....'S

SOS - Breasts in Distress

Hi Barb!

You are not vain...it's perfectly natural to feel that way!

I don't have personal experience with the bust enlargement formulas, but I do have a good friend who used one that is advertised on tv (can't think of the name right now)
Anyway, it worked very well for her..went from a AA to a large B in about 5 weeks I think. She has not had a hyst though, so no HRT in her case - I don't know how the two would affect each other. Good question for your doc!

As for breast augmentation, I can speak from personal experience. I was a very small AA, and had always been ashamed of it, so I fixed it! I am very happy with the results, but it is very painful immediately post-op, and pretty dang sore for quite a while afterwards. I occasionally still have strange tingling/burning sensations on my left side, but the doc says it's just nerve endings reacting.

Good luck, and I hope you get some answers!

Stacey

Gracias

Thank you for your compassion and insights, Judester and Stacey- I really appreciate your support.

Redefining what is normal can be a challenge, post-hyst. Other knowing perspectives are very much appreciated.

Thanks again, Barb
