Upcoming hysterectomy: Bad day

Hello sisters. Today has been a rough day. Today has been a stabbing pain kinda day. So bad that i nearly doubled over in church. Made me dizzy bad. Days like today remind me why i am having this hysterectomy and why i cant wait for it to be over. Ive been emotional lately, feeling a sense of loss i suppose over all this even though ive been done having children for 10 years my uterus is where i grew them and its done some important things for me ya know? So ive been kinda emotional about "throwing it away"! But after today..... im ready... im done n ready to move past this and get to a healthy new beginning. Sorry for the long rant ladies. I guess just sharing my thoughts n feelings helps them not eat me up inside. Everyone have a blessed night!!

Your day was like my night last night. I just kept praying I would be well enough by morning to be at church. In some weird way the reminder was good. I too had some second thoughts.nam I doing the right thing? After last night I circled the day of my last cycle on the calendar. I plan to celebrate it quietly and personally next year when I am healed.

I am new here and am having my surgery on 2/10. I also was beginning to doubt my decision on having surgery and then got what will be my last period. The pain was so bad I could barely stand but at the same time I was grateful for the reminder of why I am doing this. It is a loss of a part of myself but at the same time it is a new start of a life without pain. I

Ugh the weekend has been like that for me too! Lots of Netflix and heating pad! I wonder if dizziness has something to do with this because I've fainted a few times lately? Has anyone else had that?
And you'll be feeling better soon Katti! Just remember when things don't seem so bright how wonderful it will be to not go through this anymore!
