Pain Near Bottom Bone!!

4-23-02 was the suregery date.... I do have to say I felt better for the first couple of weeks. This is starting into week 3 and I am feeling more aches and pains. Is this normal??? On Monday night I woke up and was going to change position in the bed and all of a sudden I had this horrible pain near my bottom bone. I felt like a stabbing burning pain. It was ok when I was laying down but when I would sit up to change position it would strike again and hurt so bad I could not sit up. I rolled myself over and went back to sleep. The same thing happened lastnight. I still have a slight ache in the mornings but chills out until late evening. I had a TVH. Can anyone shine some light???

Pain Near Bottom Bone!!

Do a search on sciatic pain and see if it matches up. Sounds like it. Tailbones can really hurt!If it continues see your dr or an orthopedist to get a DX. Don't want it to be serious.
Also look up info on SI joint sydrome.[sacroilliac joint] Can do the same thing. Could be just nerve irritation but would check into it.
Use ice,...a bag of frozen vegies works good cuz it conforms to any shape.
not longer than 20 mins. at a time and make sure you put fabric of some sort between you and the ice.
See the post by HBUG5 on back pain. Might help too!
The forum listed in my reply to her will be of help to you also.
Wishing you luck and hugs.
