Wow..is This Real?
3 weeks and 2 days post op after removal of everything abdominally and I FEEL GREAT! It started 3 days ago and I really noticed it yesterday. Had lots of energy, stomach didn't hurt unless I touched it (which I ain't gonna do). Have had 2 BMs without intense gas pains prior to. Have sneezed at least 3 times without thinking the world was going to end. Is this great or what? What do you think ladies, should I trust this feeling and really believe I am on road to recovery? I plan on continuing to take it easy but this is just great. Had to share with someone who would understand my joy. Oh, I almost forgot, I am, at this very moment, wearing pre op pants that DON'T HAVE AN ELASTIC WAIST. Life is good.

Pre-op pants WITHOUT elastic at only 3 weeks? That's very exciting!
I'm only 3 weeks ahead of you, but it sounds to me like you're on the way to recovery. You're right to take it easy though. GRADUALLY easing back into your routine is the only way to keep feeling good, and even then, you'll have days when you're tired. It does keep getting better and better with every passing week, though!

Must be the date April 16th I feel GREAT too! I did have mine lap assisted vaginally, but felt wonderful after 1-2 weeks...did take it easy the first two, but week three I am feeling BETTER than I have in years...back to my normal routine and exercising! I have my post op tomorrow and am begging to go back to work on Monday (only work 3 days a week normally, so wont be too bad)! I feel soooo lucky to be one of the fortunate "quick" healers! HURRAY!!

Hi Irae
I'm so happy that you're feeling so well! I'm sure it's brightened your spirits...it did mine just reading about it.
It's good that you recognize that you still need to take it easy and gradually work back to your normal activities. Heck...every deserves lots of , even one who's feeling great!
Best wishes and s
