6 weeks post hysterectomy: Can I douche?

Can I douche? I was cleared this week from pelvic rest. My husband noticed an odor during intercourse and said there is a "stench" as he pulls out. What can I do??? I have NO discharge nor infection. It was so embarrassing. I am a very clean girl if you know what I mean!!!!!!!

I would check with your doctor to see if s/he recommends douching. Some doctors don't recommend douching and some do. You'll want to make sure your doctor is one that does. Don't automatically assume that it was you, how does your DH know that he wasn't contributing to the odor. Check with your doctor to find the best course of action.
