Your "Ta-Da" moment?

Well, let me tell you.....it was probably around 8 weeks for me, when one day I realized I would have gotten my period!!!! I felt soooooo good that day. Still a little sore from the surgery, but NOTHING compared to what I usually went thru. I called EVERYONE and ANYONE I could think of to share my joy with. Well, I had to wax my eyebrows that nite, as I had noticed that I had to wax more frequently than before the surgery (but no problem though) and something went wrong and 3/4 of my eyebrow came right off!!!!!! Can you stand it!!! My husband and I (and my children) were laughing so hard I think I wet myself!!! I called my mother and said "WHY ME?" Why cant I have a good day!!!! Anyways, thats my "TA DA" story and I am now about 7 months post, feeling wonderful and I am still in shock that I haven't gotten a period for this long. I am now at the point that I forget what it feels like and it's the BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD! Your day will come too! Mary!

Ta Da Moment.

I had my surgeory in March and I have had many Ta Da moments as I was so used to doing the check in the restroom and hoping I would not have to leave and go home You all know the feeling so for me I now have Ta Da moments everytime I leave my house my most memorable Ta Da moment was when my daughter had a field trip and I was a helper all the other mothers said I had a spring in my step and it was hard to keep up with me.My 7 yr old was so excited she told me that night that she was glad Mommy went to the Castle because Mommy is'nt tired and hurting and can play again. That was my biggest Ta Da moment but as I said every day I experience a Ta Da. Your "Ta-Da" moment?

Ta Da moment? Every month that passes and I don't have a visti from Aunt Dorothy is a TA DA ( I love all the names we have for it and why do we always refer to it as "Aunt"). I absolutely feel so great, no more swelly breasts, no more cramping, no more night sweats and no more mess. But you know, out of habit I still check every time I wipe!? When does that stop?!?!
But I am so thankful and I really enjoy the fact that my face has cleared up too.

3 months post and loving it!

my ta-da moment and a funny

Was in the store the other day. The day I was there would of had been the day I would of had gotten my period. Well.. I had to walk past the feminine hygeine products. DH was with me. There was a store employee there stocking stuff on the shelves. Normally I used up 2 big boxes of tampons and a pack of pads per period. I felt so good about NEVER having another period in my life that I laughed real loud, looked at the employee then the supplies and said.. 'hahahaha you can keep em here, i don't need these things anymore.. weee' and kept on walking. Dh looked back and saw the employee looking at me like I was nuts. It feels good to know I am done with that messy time of the month and for the first time in my life, I bought some white shorts and dont have to worry about messing them.

Ahhh.. life is grand!

Your "Ta-Da" moment?

My moment came when I was about 3 1/2 months post op and we went on vacation to Disney again. Before surgery my kids wanted to ride on Dumbo. Daddy stayed with the younger baby age 1 at the time since due to his size he couldn't go on it with the two. When I got to the line I saw the sign said 30 min wait. I was afraid of bleeding through my clothes and felt so bad for my kids telling them they couldn't go on the ride because it was to long of a wait. Hubby didn't want to wait through the line twice or leave one of the kids alone to wait till the first ride was over while I would be camped out in the bathroom. After surgery I saw the sign and thought to myself we ALL can actually ride this time. The baby was older and my 7 year old was allowed to ride alone. I didn't have to make so many stops to the bathroom due to bladder pressure or worry about packing all the supplies.
