Hello to everyone

I have made it to my one month (post op) date 05-18-02 and I am one happy lady. It has been a very tough road. Good and bad days. I have not gone back to work yet but I have found I have needed the time off of work.

I am looking foward to my 6 week check up. I have so many questions. My recovery would not have been a good one without everyone's stories. I 'm starting to feel normal again not so much like the outer body experience thing I was feeling.

Thank you and a very big thank you to my friend who sent me such an inspirational e-mail...

Please keep e-mail's coming so I don't go crazy out of my mind with boredom.

Take care and good healing

I am so glad you are feeling good! I was glad I had my surgery and life is so much better post-op! Keep resting and pampering yourself!

Glad to hear you're feeling good. I am coming up on my two year anniversary and I can't get over the difference in how I feel (at least from a gyn standpoint - I could have done without the three knee surgeries since 9/2000 though!).

Every day it will get better. Be prepared to be tired at the end of the day when you go back to work. You may feel like youa re bored now but a full day without the chance to rest will tire you out so sit when you can, even better with feet up for a little bit, and rest when you get home. The time will fly by and soon you will marking your anniversaries in years, not just months!!

Best wishes,

Julie

Questions ?

Thank You for your kind words. I am trying to rest as much as possible. I must of over done because I feel like I'm 80 yrs. old today but I know this to shall pass.

I set little goals for my self so I can reach them.

I am having trouble sleeping, any words of wisdom. What time is a good time to take my hormone pill (estratest) and will my tummy ever look normal again.
