Another embarassing sex question?
I have held back on posting this for over a week and decided there is no reason to embarrassed here, I am sure you've heard it all!! I am 5 weeks post of from a LAVH/BSO and although I know it is a big "no no", my DH and I resumed sex after 3 weeks. The first few times was fine, no pain, except (and here comes the embarassing part), I feel like I am stretched out (like having a baby) and very "wet"....is this going to last forever? Or am I just healing and resumed way too fast? The last few times (the past week or so), It was very uncomfortable..not so much painful (nothing like before the hyst) but some pain...I also saw some stitches that came out after we had sex last night. Should I call my doctor or is this just the normal healing process? Should I hold off a while? My dr did say at my 3 1/2 week post op to wait two more weeks....I just want to know if I am going to go back to normal? Thanks for all the support!

All I can say is that you need to see your dr. and you need to be completely honest with them. Any number of things may be happening. The only way you can be sure everything is ok and/or get anything that is not ok treated is to tell the dr everything you have told us. There is no way around this. Please do it ASAP.

Another embarassing sex question?
Thanks Shirl0,
I will call him in the morning...like I said, at first it was fine, but now I am getting worried, I also have an odor, not terrible, but just different than before, could this be an infection?

I agree with ShirlO - you need to talk to your doctor about this. Make sure you do tell them everything you have told us. It is important for them to know all the details. And, tell your DH he is "on hold" until further notice. Let us know how you are doing after you talk to the doctor. Take care.

It is very possible that it is an infection, but I don't know. See if the dr can fit you in quickly, though. I don't think you want to wait the regular time it takes to get in if your dr is anything like mine.
