Tingling Fingers & CPP ~ Saw Doctor

Went and saw doc today for the tingling fingers and the CPP (Chronic Pelvic Pain) that has once again returned after hyster. As far as the tingling fingers, doc isn't sure why that is happening. He checked and said I had good blood flow to the hands, so gave me a referral for Occupational Therapist to look into it. He wasn't real concerned about, says it's probably due to all the typing, etc.

The CPP: he gave me a script for Percocet and told me to call back after the holiday and make an appointment to get in with pain management. Said I 'might' be a candidate for spinal anesthesia pump, but I expressed how I don't want needles anywhere near my back. Long story, but after countless spinal taps (around 13 of them) to treat my meningitis back in 97 needles in my back is not something I have any desire for. This is exactly why I did not have spinal anesthesia done for hyster.

Came home from doc and took a Percocet and am making sure to drink tons of water (have had 64 ounces in 2 hours). Feel like I could float

Other than that: I feel wonderful and have no second thoughts about having the hysterectomy done.

Hope everyone else is doing wonderful... s

Amy

Tingling Fingers & CPP ~ Saw Doctor

Wow, Amy, that's interesting. I noticed a tingling in my fingers too. I also noticed the week after my surgery that my hands, legs and feet seemed to fall asleep fairly quickly if I was in the wrong position. I was concerned about blood flow at first, but it hasn't been as much of a problem as it was right after surgery, so I figured I'd wait and mention it at my 6 week visit.
